ConfiDoc now has virtual functions to enable support for values decorations and transformations on the fly
How to access values you can find here: Accessing JSON structures
You use a function by appending it to the expression you use to locate the value in the document. The documentation for these functions could be found in ConfiForms pluginĀ Virtual functions

pageProperties(PROPERTY_NAME) |
when somefield is a page id then ConfiDoc is able to load it and extract the page property by given (PROPERTY_NAME) name | |
confiDocGlobals(VARIABLE_NAME) | These are variables that can be stored in ConfiDoc globally using ConfiDoc Globals macro Easiest way to use the function is to use an _id pseudo field
|
There are 2 special functions available what are used as-is (not as a part of the expression)
Function | |
---|---|
_getIfExists(oneproperty, anotherproperty)
| Returns either the value for first property (oneproperty) if it has a value, and if not then tries to locate the value for a second property (anotherproperty) |
_getRawResponse()
| Returns raw response (JSON internal structure) |
